NKY Regional Trails Plan Release!

Wednesday, June 24 5:00 PM

Celebrate the Future of Trails with us!

OneNKY Alliance, CORA, and Tri-State Trails invite you to join us for the NKY Regional Trails Plan Release!

Event Details:
5:00 PM: Gathering & Presentation
6:00 PM: Group Ride along the proposed Connector Route
7:00 PM: Join us afterward at The Gruff (129 E 2nd St, Covington, KY 41011)

CORA and Tri-State Trails are building on years of work to expand trail and bikeway opportunities across Northern Kentucky.

Thanks to the funding and support of OneNKY Alliance, CORA and Tri-State Trails have developed a comprehensive feasibility report that outlines the potential for trail connectivity across our three-county region. This event is the culmination of this highly collaborative project with our cities, counties, and other stakeholders.

The report will be published to print, and we are celebrating at the OneNKY Center. We will hear from local officials about their investments into bike and trail infrastructure and have the opportunity to connect with regional trail advocates that have played a role in making this project possible.

Join us for a Group Ride at 6:00 PM

🌿 Featured Event:

Greenspace Alliance "Meet a Greenspace" Hike at Goltra Preserve

Thursday, June 11 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

RSVP

Explore one of Cincinnati’s growing green spaces at the Green Umbrella Greenspace Alliance Hike at Goltra Presereve. Hosted in partnership with CORA, this guided hike offers a behind-the-scenes look at trail development and urban greenspace conservation.

The hike will take place on Thursday, June 11th, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm, and we will meet at the trailhead at the end of Brokaw Avenue (2395 Brokaw Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45225). Parking can be found along Brokaw Avenue. Please ensure not to block the driveways of the community members who live there!

The hike will be an easy to moderate, out-and-back ~1.5-mile hike, with some steep and strenuous sections. Please dress appropriately, bring water, and snacks (if you need them). This will be an opportunity to learn about the organizations that joined together to preserve it, as well as the multi-modal trail system that we will be hiking.

This event is a part of Cincinnati’s inaugural Climate Week and is kid-friendly! We invite families with young ones to attend and explore nature together!

The Greenspace Alliance would like to thank its sponsor, Duke Energy, for making this event series possible!
