ABOUT CORA

Building Trails.

Building Community.

Since 1996.

Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance maintains over 120 miles of multi-use natural surface trails serving mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, and adaptive users. CORA’s professional staff and dedicated volunteers lead the work on the ground, while the Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and governance. Together, they collaborate with local partners to expand a connected, inclusive trail network across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

We are dedicated to building, preserving, and advocating for more miles of sustainable, multi-use natural surface trail connecting the communities of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Join us in building a 375 mile natural surface trail system across the region.

CORA’s impact is driven by a dedicated team of staff, board members, and volunteers who bring expertise, passion, and heart to everything we do. From trail design to community engagement, their work shapes every mile we build.

REGIONAL TRAIL ACCESS

Where We Are Today

Today, CORA is recognized as a leading trail advocacy and development organization in the Greater Cincinnati region. We work in partnership with groups like Tri-State Trails to help shape the vision of a 934-mile network of trails and greenways across the region.

With more than 120 miles of natural surface trail built and maintained across 15+ trail systems, CORA continues to expand equitable access to outdoor recreation through strong relationships with land managers, park systems, and local governments.

Our volunteers and supporters make this work possible. They help build trails, attend public meetings to support new projects, and spread awareness in their communities. Together, we are helping to bring long-term plans like the Northern Kentucky Regional Trails Vision to life, creating sustainable, inclusive trail connections that serve the entire region.

WHY WE DO IT

We believe in the power of trails to build healthier, more connected communities.

Our mission is to bring to life a sustainable world-class trail system in greater Cincinnati, contributing to the joy, health, and well-being of our neighbors.

Our vision is to be one of the top community trail systems in the country.

Our strategic goals include:

  • 375 miles of accessible, connected neighborhood trails
  • 14 neighborhood bike skills courses or bicycle playgrounds
  • 4 regional bike parks
