Great Parks and CORA Receive a NACPRO 2026 Award

What an honor to receive the NACPRO 2026 Outstanding Support Organization Award with Great Parks of Hamilton County!

NACPRO (National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials) hosts an annual award program to recognize and honor excellence in parks and recreation at the county, regional, and special district level. The award category "Friends of Parks and Recreation" supports the Outstanding Support Organization Award, presented to an organization that has made a significant contribution to benefit park and recreation programs, facilities, operations, and/or organizational support.

Collaborative projects like the Avoca Trail and the Mitchell Memorial Forest Bike Skills Course & Loop were considered forward advancement, and this allowed us to receive such a prestigious award! Truly, an honor!

On behalf of our volunteers, contributors, Board of Directors, and the CORA staff, we believe in bringing communities together around parks and trail systems. With a great long-term partner like Great Parks, the future of trails is in "great" hands.

Together, we are making Hamilton County a more vibrant, healthier place to live and raise a family around trails to hike, bike, and run on.

Find your adventure!
