Join Great Parks and CORA for the celebration and grand opening of the Mitchell Memorial Forest Mountain Bike Skills Course and Skills Loop!
This new addition joins the park’s 8–9 miles of natural-surface trails for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running.

What to Expect:
- Beginner Bike Skills Course — perfect for learning confidence-building techniques before hitting the trails.
- A party right at the trailhead to celebrate this exciting new feature
- Food trucks, plenty of drinks, and good vibes all around.
Group Ride:
Join us at 2 PM for a group ride for various skills levels and paces. We will have 2 groups, one for beginners and one for intermediate riders, each including varying paces. The group ride will require a mountain bike, helmet, water, and a bit of grit.
Beginner Group Ride: A Loop (4 miles)
Intermediate Group Ride: A + B Loop (8 miles)
This much-anticipated course is a huge win for the community, giving kids, families, and riders of all ages a fun way to build skills and fuel their sense of adventure.
