Thank you for sponsoring this trail day, Nexigen!
Saturday, May 17th, 2025 was a great morning in Dayton, KY, working on the trails at Sargeant Park with our friends at Nexigen, and our community of trail enthusiasts! Volunteers from across the region gathered for Nexigen Trail Day with CORA (the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance) to work on a few trail projects at around the park.
The shared passion of the outdoors was electric!
By noon, here’s what was accomplished:
🖌️The Whitetail Ridge Trail bridge got a fresh coat of paint!

This added flair to the park by matching Dayton’s signature Green Devil Green paint color throughout the park. It really does look fresh! Great work, team.
🛤️ Pathways were cleared and reshaped to improve flow and accessibility

The park is looking better than ever!
These improvements don’t just make the trails more beautiful — they make them more sustainable, more welcoming, and more connected to the neighborhoods they serve.
These trails aren’t just dirt paths in the woods. They’re green connectors between neighborhoods. They’re community wellness infrastructure. They’re where kids ride bikes, families hike, and individuals reconnect with nature — and themselves.
The work we do on days like this doesn’t just preserve trails; it powers community connection. And that’s what CORA is here for.
