As we approach the end of the year, we are thrilled about the plans we have in store for 2025! From trail planning and construction to advocacy and stewardship, it promises to be an incredible year. Here's a sneak peek into some of the exciting initiatives on the horizon:
OneNKY CONNECTOR TRAILS
The OneNKY Connector Trails promise to transform Northern Kentucky with a vibrant network of paved and natural surface trails linking communities, parks, and landmarks. CORA is partnering with TriState Trails to create a backbone of connected trailways across seven cities and three counties, as well as developing a long-term masterplan to further develop paved, unpaved, on-road, and off-road trails and connections throughout the Boone, Kenton, and Campbell county region.
EONS PARK
The City of Erlanger, in partnership with CORA, is leading an effort to create over 20 miles of world-class trails in Dry Creek Valley. Despite being within the I-275 beltway, this picturesque valley offers views and experiences that evoke the tranquility and rugged beauty of a remote, mountainous retreat.
EAST FORK STATE PARK
With support from Governor DeWine’s Office of Appalachia, CORA is creating a visionary plan to transform East Fork Lake’s trails. This initiative lays the groundwork for gravity trails near the campground, enhancing current paths, and exploring connections for a west-side adventure linking to the scenic dam and the Batavia-Williamsburg Hike-Bike Trail. Join us in shaping the future of outdoor recreation!
Thank you for supporting our mission to create more resources like the OneNKY Connector Trails, EONS Park, and East Fork State Park by contributing to CORA. Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of your gift, thanks to a generous community member. Your support empowers us to identify, plan, and develop additional spaces, fostering the growth of outdoor culture in our region.
