As 2025 approaches, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible memories and milestones we’ve shared in 2024—a year filled with growth, adventure, and a community coming together to build something extraordinary.
Take a moment to think back to your own trail stories this year. The thrill of conquering a tricky section that used to challenge you. The peaceful solitude of a hike through the woods or the joy of discovering a new trail. The shared smiles, waves, and conversations with fellow trail users—each moment adding to the vibrant community we’ve built together.
Our trail network has grown in ways that are truly remarkable. Thanks to your support, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky now have over 115 miles of trails and 13 trail systems. These trails aren’t just paths through the woods—they’re places where connections are made, challenges are overcome, and memories are created.
BUILT BY THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
Behind every mile of trail are hours of hard work. This year, 250+ volunteers dedicated over 5,000 hours to building, maintaining, and improving our trails. That’s a labor of love—powered by sweat, determination, and the shared dream of making our trails the best they can be.
Volunteers have been the heartbeat of our trails, tirelessly clearing debris, improving drainage, and building new sections to keep every path ready for adventure. Thanks to generous donor contributions, CORA has been able to provide the tools, machinery, and equipment maintenance necessary to make it all possible. It’s not just about shovels and dirt—it’s about creating a community powered by passion and purpose.
Now, imagine what we could accomplish if we doubled that effort in 2025. While volunteers play a vital role in maintaining trails and advocating for their future, our users have shown a clear preference for professionally built trails. Trails like those at Devou Park and Lebanon Bike Park set the standard. Then there are hybrid projects—like Goltra, Stonelick, and Nighthawk—where volunteer efforts complement the expertise of professional crews, making these trail systems the perfect blend of craftsmanship and community spirit.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2025
Our trails hold a special place in our hearts, and the excitement keeps growing with the incredible projects currently underway. From Goltra Preserve and the Little Miami River Valley Outdoor Recreation Corridor to Clear Creek Bike Park, Sargeant Park, East Fork State Park, and Stonelick State Park, there’s so much happening. We’re especially thrilled about the plans to build a skills park at Mount Airy, along with new developments at Sixth Street Trails, Fox Run, and exciting additions to Hueston Woods. And that’s just the beginning!
If you haven’t heard of EONS Park yet, now’s the time to check it out: https://eonsadventurepark.com
This exciting addition to our community will connect trails across Erlanger, Kentucky, offering new adventures and linking the trails you already love. And let’s not forget OneNKY—a visionary project still in the planning stages and preparing to transition into funding. We can’t wait to see these ideas come to life and look forward to sharing these trails with you soon!
These trails are more than paths—they’re opportunities for connection, joy, and discovery. If you’ve been part of these moments, you know the magic they hold. And if you haven’t yet, 2025 is your chance to dive in and see what you’ve been missing.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
Through the end of the year, your contribution to CORA will be matched up to $40,000 by an anonymous donor. That means every dollar you give goes twice as far in fueling our trailblazing efforts. Your contribution goes directly toward essential resources like tools, machinery, and equipment that empower our volunteers to bring these trails to life.
Let’s keep building together. Let’s make 2025 a year we’ll never forget.
