The Aylesboro Connector trail on Wasson Way is definitely an unorthodox project for CORA to be working on. Never before have we built a short piece of natural surface trail in an urban environment and a lot of people might be asking why we're doing this.

The TriState Trails Summit last week left everyone with a high level of stoke! It was amazing to get so many in the room at NKU to discuss the benefits of trails. Mayor Aftab Pureval of Cincinnati and Judge-Executive Gary Moore of Boone County participated in panel discussions regarding paths, community connections, and active transportation*.

There’s nothing like a sunny, fair weather day to beckon us outside and into nature. Mother Nature’s call inevitably leads us adventure seekers to the trails we know and love over and over again. And like any enduring, symbiotic relationship, we need to tend to our trail usage in much the same way Mr. Miyagi taught us to wax a car: with thoughtful intention.

CORA is thrilled to collaborate with the City of Dayton, KY, and Groundwork Ohio River Valley to bring this urban trail to life.

After an extensive search in early 2021, CORA Board of Directors is excited to welcome Jason Reser as Trail Development Director. In this role, Jason will be responsible for executing funding opportunities in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, creating strategic partnerships for growth, and working with land managers to increase access to trails so that all community members have access to trails, close to home.
